Our Digital Collaboration Product Portfolio has a vision to create a connected environment that allow BCGers to securely collaborate internally and externally via simple experience, powered by smart platforms and tools.
The Digital Collaboration Product Portfolio covers the following main content areas:
- Meeting Experience: Includes tools like Zoom, MSFT Teams meetings, in-room A/V systems, whiteboarding (i.e. Miro/Microsoft Whiteboard)
- Messaging and Communities: includes tools like Slack, MSFT Teams (messaging)
- Content Collaboration: Includes tools like OneDrive and SharePoint Online
- Team Productivity: covers tools like Outlook, Exchange, Mimecast, Trello, Planner
- Meeting Rooms and Hybrid: covering use cases of experience equality between in-office and remote working, SmartJoin for meetings, and much more
The Product Owner must be a leader who is customer-centric and enjoys working with teams to design and deliver exceptional products to customers. You will lead product security across our Microsoft 365 suite and non-Microsoft collaboration tools. Your squad will be responsible for:
- Configuring our Collaboration Security Suite
- Defense in depth and intelligent compliance by default in your configuration and activities
- Executing vulnerability management detection and optimization
- Developing and tune Data Loss Prevention Products
- Automating our security response and policy configuration
Among your responsibilities, you will:
- Deliver business results and customer value
- Ensure that the product is built in an incremental way, releasing new working features at the end of each squad and creating value for the customer
- Tracking product performance to inform future work
- Delivering on specific and measurable KPIs to be defined for your Squad
- Serve as the voice of customer or end-user
- Translating the voice and needs of customer into user stories, engaging users as needed
- Leveraging empirical and qualitative data to assess feature performance and inform prioritization
- Proactively seeking customer feedback to learn and better understand their needs and requirements
- Oversee what is delivered by the Squad and when
- Prioritizing work through a well-organized backlog of user stories and clearly communicating what needs to be done and by when
- Defining and clearly communicating acceptance criteria for output based on business & customer needs
- Support and enabling the Squad to get its work done
- Regularly engaging with the Squad to offer feedback on work-in-progress and clarify requirements
- Engaging with Chapter Leads regarding resourcing and functional expertise required in Squad
- Providing feedback as part of performance management of Squad members and other members of the Product Portfolio
- Set an overall vision to direct and inform the Squad's work
- Working closely with the Product Portfolio Lead to understand and drive alignment on the Product Portfolio's business strategy, goals, and objectives
- Translating Product Portfolio objectives into a clear vision (e.g., via KPIs, sprint goals) for your Squad to inform the creation and prioritization of the Squad's backlog of work
- Sharing information about the Squad's output and priorities with other Product Owners to ensure alignment across the organization
- Enable the organization's new way of working
- Modelling behaviors to support the organization's transformation to a new way of working
- Actively creating and maintaining a Squad culture based on the organization and Agile behaviors
- Providing informal and formal feedback within context of larger performance management system

**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:
- Total 7+ years' relevant experience as Product Owner, including preferably also experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach/ Mentor in 1 or more organizations
- Total 7+ years' relevant experience in various Digital Collaboration products including meeting, messaging, content collaboration and productivity products
- Agile Certifications, preferably Scrum.org (Professional Scrum Product Owner) or Scrum Alliance (Certified Product Owner)
