**Main Purpose of Job**:
Oversees the planning, execution and monitoring for all new project and transfer programs, ensuring adherence to timeline, scope, budget and quality standards. Responsible for training and mentoring program managers on fundamental aspects of program management such as schedule and task management, budgeting, resource management, financial analysis and reporting, risk and opportunity management, milestone attainment, revenue gathering, customer support, service and communication, and all other aspects of reporting across the program team, customer and Viant leadership. The PMO Manager will be responsible for organizing program, schedule and financial reviews for all Viant programs with Viant program managers and leadership
Main Job Duties/Responsibilities (List most important first)
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project management strategy with organizations goal´s and objectives.
- Provides regular updates on progress against deliverables and risks to Viant Medical Senior Management and Viant Medical staff members.
- Define Viant Medical activities that will allow clear allocation of responsibility and efficient management. Obtain commitments by the functional management at Viant Medical on resource allocation requirements and work management structure.
- Follow Transfer Procedure for every project initiate at Viant Medical, tracking, monitoring and closing phases thru the project.
- Implement project performance indicators to track progress
Knowledge / Education
- BS/BA in Business or Technical Discipline
- MS/MBA preferred
- PMP Certification preferred
Job Experience
- Minimum 10 years of related experience including broad multi-functional business experience
- 8+ years project management experience
- 5+ years outside customer project management experience
- 5+ years working under US government policies and regulations
- Knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO1348 and ISO14971 Risk Assessment preferred
- Experience in medical device or related regulated industry preferred
