The essential duties and responsibilities for this position are: Analyze the ERP purchasing suggestions are accurate and in line with demand.
Good Communication with production planners, buyers, and logistics team, but also with all departments.
Prepare, send, and follow up on purchase orders or inter-company transfer orders.
Look for alternative solutions involving other departments.
Participates and leads discussion with customers around delivery schedules.
Inventory control of raw materials, consumables or whatever has been assigned.
Demonstrate the ability to consistently deliver products and services to meet customer needs.
Keep mater data updated.
Be a mentor for junior/mid peers.
Identify risks that affect supply, delivery, and customer demand and set mitigation plans.
Deliver continuous improvement of demand planning/S&OP processes.
Manage and communicate supply issues to internal and external stakeholders, as needed.
Scheduling capacity to control demand through work centers.
Implements measures to improve production control methods.
Be able to calculate efficiency, utilization, and productivity.
Determine the need for capacity to address expected demand, execute the resulting plans, and update planning and financial information to reflect the results.
Active involvement in departmental inventory management strategies and objectives.
Responsible for inventory deployment/optimization to ensure high service levels.
Supports new product introduction activities as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: University Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineer, or related area.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B1+).
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum 7 years of working experience in a Supply Chain environment; experience in the planning environment of a production plant, preferably in the Medical Devices Industry.
Preferred Qualifications Ability to connect financial targets to Supply Chain KPIs.
Power BI is a plus.
APICS Certification /CPIM.
Experience leading or supporting S&OP processes.
