DHL is looking to add a Senior Network Security Engineer to its Operations team.
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
- We are looking for a new team member who will influence and contribute to the availability of the DPDHL network security team and solutions hosted in the
- DPDHL ITS data centers. The position has work from home flexibility.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Support Secure Access Operations department in the delivery of properly engineered network connectivity solutions between DPDHL and 3rd parties
- Participate in the support of the large data center networks in regional DPDHL data centers in a follow-the-sun model
- Provide problem solving and support for allintranet/internet Telecommunication services and liaising with appropriate external vendors to ensure all
- Telecommunication services are maintained and operated to set service levels
- Plan and execute the most critical network infrastructure maintenances and upgrades
- Provide project support, technical consultancy, and implementation of network connectivity solutions into the existing infrastructure
- Gather customer requests and manage end-to-end delivery of the solution
- Provide troubleshooting and support for intranet/internet telecommunication services and liaising with stakeholders to ensure services are delivered within SLAs
- Ensure all solutions implemented follow the agreed standards
- Recommend new security services and subsequent implementation into the infrastructure, ensuring minimum disruption and impact to the business
- Stay abreast of current technological trends, identifying technologies and products consistent with global standards that can provide commercial benefit to the
- organization
- Propose ideas to improve the service
**YOU SHOULD HAVE**:
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of Telecommunications Network Security
- Very good knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS Protocols
- Very good knowledge of at least four of the following Network Security technologies - Firewalls (Check Point, Juniper, Cisco), Citrix Netscaler, F5 BIG-IP,
- IPSEC VPNs, and Proxy Technologies
- Very good knowledge of at least one of the Linux distributions
- Good knowledge of scripting
- Ability to work independently and under time and workload pressure
- Excellent communication, prioritization and organization skills
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
