**Senior Java Microservices Developer (Hybrid)**
**Heredia, Costa Rica**
SGF Global is looking for a Senior Java Microservices Developer, for IT enterprise in Heredia, Costa Rica.
**Overview**:
As a Java microservices developer you will be responsible for building software systems that have well-defined interfaces.
Your primary role will be designing and implementing scalable and efficient microservice architectures.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Java, J2EE development, Spring f/w and related spring technologies, Spring boot, spring cloud and other cloud native frameworks
- 8+ years of experience in designing and building micro services adhering to domain driven design concepts.
- 8+ years of experience with various database and data grid technologies RDBMS, NoSQL
- 8+ years of experience in industry standard interface architectures (REST, SOAP etc.)
and protocols (HTTP, JMS, AMQP, MQ etc.)
- Hands-on experience in using Kubernetes/Docker running apps Kubernetes solution like OSE, EKS, GKE etc.
Experience using Cloud Foundry will be a plus (Nice to have)
- Skilled in building distributed systems, CI/CD and Test-Driven Development (TDD) (Nice to have)
- Experience in architecting and developing 12/16 Factor Apps (Nice to have)
- Programming with NodeJS and Python is a plus (Nice to have)
- English C1

**Duties and Tasks**:
- Collaborative working with the client's technology and business staff day-to-day
- Negotiate features and associated priorities and help the team and their customers reach consensus.
- Shows capabilities of performing team leader functions
- Develops and/or leads the development of prototypes,
- Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes.
- Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling.
