In this global role, you will support Human Resources Information Systems team whose primary focus is the configuration and support of Workday, our Human Capital Management System.
You will collaborate and participate in the development, implementation, and enhancement of the Workday system while upholding strict data integrity and regulatory guidelines.
**Role Responsibilities**
- Owns overall configuration, architecture and governance across Workday platform including but not limited to Human Capital Management, Talent and Performance, Compensation, Absence, Recruiting, Payroll and Time Tracking.
- Partners closely with Centers of Excellence and stakeholders to understand requirements and company needs for system configuration.
- Acts as the Workday Human Capital Management Configuration Subject Matter Expert on any projects, activities, enhancement requests, break fixes, etc.
that requires the role's expertise to provide inputs and/or identify any necessary changes to the configuration design.
- Ensures that all supporting documentation is controlled, current, and readily available for use.
- Coaches / mentors to help grow & develop other team members knowledge & expertise within this workstream
- Troubleshoots and processes user requests in a timely manner.
- Key player in developing and driving process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Project management / technical lead for implementation, enhancement, and project optimization.
- Participates in the testing of system changes, upgrades, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Investigates and analyzes system problems, develops, and implements solutions in partnership with system users and IT.
- Along with the Human Resources Information Systems team, monitors our ticketing system, ensuring customers receive feedback and provides solutions on a timely basis.
- Develops user procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
Provide training to a variety of functional teams on enhanced processes and new functionality.
**Role Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of Workday configuration and management experience.
- 1.5+ years of experience in leading projects.
- Intermediate to advanced English level.
- Strong understanding of Human Resources Management System design, structure, functionality, and business processes.
- Relationship management across all levels of the organization is a critical success factor for this position.
- 1.5+ years of experience driving system implementation from discovery to requirements, to build, to test.
- Experience deploying projects using Agile methodology is a plus.
- Advanced soft skills such as great communication, teamwork, and other interpersonal skills.
- 1.5 years of experience effectively communicating complex technical content to non-technical partners.
- Highly analytical and skilled at problem-solving (error detection, root cause analysis, error correction options, recommending best option).
- Demonstrates a global mindset and develops approaches that can scale broadly across markets.
- Proficient in advanced techniques of Microsoft Excel or similar.
- Advanced technical skills in Workday Human Capital Management Modules.
- Workday certification desired in Workday module(s) is a plus.
