**Role**:
The HR People Consultants are a centralized pool of HR generalist resources that support HRBPs, with alignment to business teams.
People Consultants provide global client support, working directly with HRBPs, employees and managers, resolving matters that require additional attention and time.
The People Consultants work across the People organization, working closely with Splunk People Operations Team (SPOT) colleagues, partner teams and COEs, to address complex issues.
This role will be hybrid and flexible for remote work with flexibility of in person time spent in office.
**Responsibilities**:
- Go-to person regarding more complex HR policies and procedures, building manager capability through coaching and guidance, addressing issues and/or concerns.
Provide personalized guidance, support, and solutions on a breadth of People related activities requiring expertise and depth.
- Proactively identify and implement process and program improvements.
Troubleshoot process issues, identify root cause and implement solutions.
- Engages and collaborates with People Business Partners on business client needs.
- Act as an account manager to ensure that relevant talent solutions are deployed strategically into the client groups.
Provide input about client needs to global Center of Expertise (COE) and other partners to deliver end-to-end solutions and results in the achievement of business and enterprise goals.
Monitor results and work collaboratively to address gaps.
- Project manage initiatives to drive extraordinary individual and team performance.
- Analyze people data and trends to provide relevant insight to business leaders, in partnership with HR colleagues from Inclusion and Diversity, Talent Acquisition, People Systems and Analytics, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Legal, Learning and Development and our global HR teams.
- Coach and advise on a variety of components impacting employee experience, employee relations concerns, performance management, rewards and recognition, leaves of absence, local labor laws, global mobility, compensation and benefits.
- Keep management and employees informed of Splunk's HR policies and administrative practices, and of proposed changes that will affect their operational effectiveness; devise and develop effective communication between and among management and employees on all policy changes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience.
- Experience in HR, people programs, or other large-scale people related roles working for a US Based multinational company preferred
- Proficiency with both a locally and globally located employee base preferred.
- Effective interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills.
- Experience coaching and mentoring others.
- Client-service orientated, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with managers, employees, within the People team, and a variety of stakeholders to drive resolution of issues.
- Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion & good judgment.
