**Job Description**:
Experian Automotive is searching for a Software Development Engineer to join our team.
You will work on an agile team that delivers a diverse transactional product portfolio including vehicle history product suites.
What you´ll do:
- Actively participate and support Backlog Grooming process by working with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Scrum Team, and other stakeholders to make sure requirements are properly captured in Stories that Scrum Team will be ultimately responsible for delivering
- Work with project team members in all phases of software development life cycle.
**Qualifications**:
What your background looks like:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field with significant software and computer science course work.
- 5+ years of software development experience, including designing and building large-scale distributed and multi-tenant systems
- JavaScript / Reactjs / CSS/HTML / VueJS / Thymeleaf / Spring Boot
- Server-side development using Spring Boot framework.
Must have knowledge of REST API / SOAP web services.
- Bootstrap and responsive design for web
- Version Control software/tools such as Bitbucket/Git
- Excellent understanding of programming concepts and methods, software development lifecycle and Agile development methodology.
- Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of a broad range of both commercial and opensource solutions/tools - Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, React/Vue.JS, KAFKA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Unix shell.
- Excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of technology
- Unix shell scripting
- DBMSs such as PostgreSQL, DB2
- SQL knowledge
- Jmeter
- Splunk
- Secure development mindset
Beneficial skills:
- Containers and Container Application platforms (OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes preferred)
- Cloud computing, AWS preferred
- Google analytics
