**Job Description**:
Costa Rica FP&A Team is seeking a strong Senior Financial Analyst to support North America business unit month end close responsibilities, revenue recognition, reporting functions and sales forecasting.
This role will be responsible for providing support internally within the business unit, in additional to North American Corporate Experian, creating partnership and constantly looking for process optimization.
This position will provide opportunities to work closely with North America Finance Teams and support business unit with specific analysis and reporting, gaining invaluable experience and exposure through interacting with many different departments within the business unit as well as being in contact with different management levels.
This position will be a key role in a growing team and will provide additional opportunities for growth for the right individual.
**Role description**
- Support and provide inputs into financial processes such as month end, forecast, budget, and strategic planning.
- Provide ongoing visibility to performance vs expectation and support management in identifying and managing risks and opportunities.
- Develop, consolidate, and maintain line of sight into the business unit P&L, as a key contributor to forecast, month-end, and budget reviews with finance leadership teams.
- Provide decision support to finance and business teams through ad-hoc analysis and financial modelling to drive better decisions and results.
- Deliver insight to the business through advanced data analytics and automation.
- Develop new tools, dashboards, and processes to drive scalable analysis and insight.
- Collaborate with functional leaders across the business.
- Continuously focus on and implement process improvements, utilizing RPA and the centralized finance hub where possible.
- Build relationships and collaborate across multiple teams to achieve impactful results.
**Qualifications**:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
Master's in business administration, Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Management accountant preferred.
- 4+ years of progressive experience in Finance.
- Strong business partnering skills with a focus on customer service and responsiveness, preferably experience supporting other finance professionals.
- Experience with month end processes and reporting, and P&L analysis/variance explanations.
- Experience running Forecast and Budget processes.
- Experience presenting and partnering with Senior Leader levels.
- Strong Excel skills required.
Experience/knowledge of financial systems and tools including OBIEE, Hyperion Planning/Essbase and SmartView preferred.
Experience with Tableau is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong English fluency.
- Excellent skills in data analytics with the ability to draw concise insights from large sets of data.
- Ability to balance between detail orientation and high-level summaries while maintaining accuracy.
- Expert communicator across different audiences, with significant prior exposure to senior executives.
