**Job Summary**
As a **_Senior EDI Operations Engineer (6807)_**, you will be part of a highly skilled technology and agile team by supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help us accelerate our customers' business results by innovating cutting-edge digital products.
Your responsibilities will include leading and actively participating in the design, development, and delivery of our software projects.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- EDI System Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our EDI system, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure continuous functionality.
- Implementation and Integration: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement new EDI connections, configure data mappings, and integrate EDI solutions into existing systems.
- Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize EDI processes and improve efficiency, including streamlining workflows, enhancing data validation, and minimizing error rates.
- Compliance and Standards: Stay updated on EDI industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT.
- Documentation and Training: Document EDI configurations, procedures, and best practices, and provide training and support to internal users and external stakeholders as needed.
- Incident Management: Act as a point of contact for EDI-related incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business development, to understand EDI requirements and facilitate effective communication with external partners.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience in EDI operations, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of EDI systems.
- Strong understanding of EDI standards and protocols, such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and AS2.
- Proficiency in EDI mapping tools and software, such as Sterling B2B Integrator, Gentran, or similar platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
