If so, lets talk.**Your Role and Responsibilities**The Strategic Partnerships development team on Cloud Pak for Data integrates a variety of database products onto IBM's Cloud Pak platform. Our team works with strategic technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift, Operators with the Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM), as well as common open-source databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra. We operate in a continuous-delivery, forward-moving model of development so concepts like CICD and automated & integrated testing are foundational.Developing operators using Ansible, Golang and the Operator SDK to automate and manage the deployment of open source databasesWriting pipelines to build, package, deploy, and test Kubernetes operators using Jenkins and scripting languages such as Bash and PythonPlanning and implementing deployments of containerized software running on Kubernetes while incorporating security, network, and data encryption requirements and policiesAs a senior engineer, you will also mentor and guide junior employees in completing their requirements. You will investigate and identify gaps in the overall product and propose solutions which improve the customer experience, especially in the integration space.**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**- 5 or more years of software development experience- Excellent communication and collaboration skills- Ability to mentor and lead junior developers in a fast-paced development environment- Experience with software container technology - Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker- Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Ansible and Jenkins- Experience with Golang is a plus- Experience with relational and non relational databases**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**- 7 or more years of software development experience- Excellent communication and collaboration skills- Ability to mentor and lead junior developers in a fast-paced development environment- Experience with software container technology - Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker- Experience with Dev Ops tools such as Ansible and Jenkins- Experience with Golang- Experience with relational and non relational databases**About Business Unit**Are you craving to learn more?
