**About the role**:
As a **_Senior Data Engineer_**, you will be part of a highly skilled technology and agile team by supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help us accelerate our customers' business results by innovating cutting-edge digital products.
Some of your essential day-to-day job duties and responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing efficient data pipelines (ETLs) in order to integrate data from a variety of sources into Indeed's Data Warehouse
- Designing and implementing data model changes that align with warehouse standards
- Providing documentation, training, and consulting for data warehouse users
- Support testing activites as part of new team strategy to have Engineers enforce testing process.
**Our Requirement**:
- 5+ years in a Data Engineering or Data Warehousing role (Must have experience with AWS cloud services)
- Expert in SQL
- Expert in Data pipeline development using tools such as AWS Glue
- (Working with Iceberg file format is a plus)
- 5+ years coding experience (Python ideal)
- 3+ years hands on experience with big data technologies (Snowflake, Redshift, Hive, or similar technologies)
- Experience building and executing test cases to ensure better data quality and SLOs
- Experience with job schedulers like Airflow.
