The role will report to the TP Manager (TP Lead) who is overall responsible for delivering approx. 100 local files per year against the agreed calendar with Group Tax.
The TP analyst will prepare transfer price files directly with the GFS TP Manager and the market controller facilitating the conversations required to align and agree the transfer price local file to be prepared.
The TP analyst will need to gain knowledge of AZ Transfer Pricing policy to ensure that the documents and subsequent results conform with Group Tax requirements.
The TP analyst will need to understand the market specifics, prior year local files and other TP documents In order to successfully prepare the local files.
Specific activities and relationships include:
- Working with the Group Tax TP Director to define the annual calendar in line with Group Tax needs
- Working with Group Tax to review local market transfer price documentation needs
- Facilitating discussions between Group Tax and market controllers
- Following up with controllers and CFOs to achieve signed off positions
The role will include the following:

The TP Analyst is expected to perform at** expert level **in the following:
- ** TP local file execution - **Operates across all marketing company processes and have the Transfer Pricing and AZ knowledge to perform for each market in scope
- ** Segmented P&L** understanding
- Understand the structure of the AZ P&L for each market and how it interacts with the AZ processes.
- ** Training and Documentation** - Responsible for ensuring documentation in place for marketing company process for the markets in scope of the region.

**Education, Qualifications and Experience**
Essential
- Financial accounting and business acumen
- Proven experience in a similar role in transfer pricing
- Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent presentation and influencing skills
- Experience of virtual collaboration to lead, shape and deliver

- Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
- Pharmaceutical business awareness/business domain knowledge
