**Job Summary**
As a **_Senior Backend Developer (6568)_**, you will be part of a highly skilled technology and agile team by supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help us accelerate our customers' business results by innovating cutting-edge digital products.
Your responsibilities will include leading and actively participating in the design, development, and delivery of our software projects.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Architecting and developing robust and scalable server-side software solutions using various programming languages such as Python, Java, etc.
- Implementing strong security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent common cyber attacks.
- Identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing code and infrastructure to improve the speed and efficiency of the system.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong problem solving and coding skills.
- Experience with C,C++, Java, Python or Go.
- Experience with micro-service architecture and systems design.
- Experience developing highly scalable backend microservices.
Nice to have:
- BS, MS or PhD degree in computer science, related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of data structure and algorithms and an ability to use them practically when implementing solutions.
- Experience shipping high-quality product features on schedule.
- Experience handling complex problems at scale.
- Experience with one of the following databases: MySQL, Oracle.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience with leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
- Knowledge of the logistics and freight industry is a plus.
- Experience with React is a plus.
