Nerdy is seeking an innovative Senior Analytics Engineer to join our team and work on overseeing Looker implementations, administration, and data pulls. The Senior Analytics Engineer will support the entire organization and collaborate closely with data engineers and data analysts to ensure efficient data transformations and high-quality data management.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data transformation techniques.
- Proficient in Looker
- Ability to summarize large fields of data and present and visualize this information in a compelling, digestible fashion.
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.
- Ability to effectively communicate data and information to senior management.
- Comfortable diving deep into very large fields of data
- Deep and abiding love for figuring out how things work, then relentlessly testing and optimizing to drive desired outcomes.
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with an extreme attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and oversee the Looker platform, ensuring smooth implementation, administration, and optimization.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to support various data needs across the organization.
- Work with data engineers to move data transformations upstream and support data analysts in executing data engineering tasks within Looker.
- Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to ensure high data quality and availability.
- Support the entire organization by addressing general Looker issues and collaborating with stakeholders to gather and address data requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Looker configurations, data transformations, and processes, and promote best practices within the team.
