Create weekly reports and communications in support of Sourcing team.
- Perform sourcing analysis and selection process, including financial and non-financial inputs as required for clear sourcing decisions
- Supports contract negotiation and development of contract strategy.
- Support new product launches; supplier selection, requests for quotes and insurance that suppliers are clear on product launch deliverables; collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful launch.
- Participate in assuring cost standards are established for annual operating budgets.
- Participate in the implementation of enterprise wide metrics, tools and processes to optimize sourcing and supplier activities.
- Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs, addressing quality, delivery, service as well as cost.
- Understand spend, vendors and category dynamics; receive and analyse data; under supervision provides inputs into strategic sourcing activities
- Support day-to-day supplier requests.
Provide data and support for ASL
- With guidance, manage supplier performance to meet requirements.
- Conduct research and analysis on assigned categories in support of lead negotiator; Basic knowledge of negotiation tools; developing knowledge of Ts and Cs
1+ years experience in purchasing, marketing, manufacturing, quality, or other relevant field within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to suppliers, team members, team leaders, and top management.
- Ability to build relationships across multiple functions and levels both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies & cost reduction methodologies.
- Knowledge of supplier metrics & measurement methodologies and supporting systems.
- PC Literate ( Excel, SharePoint).
Basic knowledge of project Management tools is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills required
Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Related Discipline
