Bachelor's Degree on Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements on the AP environment.
- 10+ years of leadership experience, managing finance, accounting and operational processes.
- 7+ years of experience managing teams.
- 5+ years of experience working in Shared Services and Accounts Payable operations for LATAM region.
- Strong communication in Spanish and English (Written and Oral).

As the company continues to scale, we are seeking an Senior Accounts Payable Manager to lead and further develop the organization, at the Costa Rica Center.
This position will be responsible for Corporate Accounts Payable (AP) Operations including: hiring, training, and employee development; managing group workload and establishing priorities; ensuring existing policies and procedures are followed; managing annual performance targets; creating and monitoring appropriate performance metrics.
This position will also act as an escalation point in resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.
Overall responsible for Audit compliance and Business controls within the AP space.
Key job responsibilities
Lead a team across multiple AP operations' teams supported.
- Lead the strategic direction of the AP teams based on internal and industry knowledge.
- Responsible for developing and communicating team or department vision and goals for AP.
- Work on onboarding new businesses and support geographic expansions for the suite of services provided by Finance Operation Services.
- Partner with Finance Business Services teams to deliver on shared goals and projects in support of the relevant business teams.
- Participate in monthly Operations/Project reviews with leadership in support of services being provided for.
- Coordinate with PMO and Finance Technology teams to ensure projects have appropriate requirements, sign-off and support.
- Partner closely with the Technology teams to identify post business launch enhancements necessary for Finance Operations Services to scale with the business initiative.
- Drive continuous improvement in the process which support through close partnership with the Finance Operational Excellence team.
- Developing, modifying and maintaining the operational and design effectiveness of internal controls.
- Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience onboarding new businesses and extending geographic support for Financial Operation Services.
- Proven ability to build and lead large complex finance, accounting, project management teams.
