Rtr Specialist Ii - Inventory Accounting

**PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform and collaborate in the inventory accounting closing process carrying out specific tasks on a timely manner.
- Prepare and post Manual Journal Entries as requested
- Prepare monthly and quarterly obsolescence accruals
- Work orders analysis and closure
- Prepare stock movement adjustments
- Cost batch accounting validation
- Preparation and analysis of month end net inventory reports
- Inventory variance analysis and reporting
- Price variance accounts clean up
- Reconcile inventory balance sheet accounts per reconciliation schedule.
- Follow up on reconciling items, collaborates with other teams and execute action plans to close the differences between the Inventory subledger and the accounting.
- Ensure targets and expected deliverables are met according to the SLA guidelines.
- Identify potential areas for process improvements and highlight to Supervisors and Continuous Improvement Team towards process standardization and optimization.
- Support internal and external audit processes collaborating with the supervision of the area to meet deliverables and address explanations
- Participate in the reporting process of financial statements in a monthly basis
- Develop analysis and information as requested by the Business Units

**Requirements**:
**EDUCATION/LANGUAGE**
- Associates or BSBA degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Administration.
- Good communication both verbal and written in English (B2)
- Intermediate level of Portuguese is a plus.
