Emerson is seeking a motivated and experienced accounting professional to join our team as a RtR Specialist I in San José Province, Escazu, Costa Rica. With our strong values of integrity, safety, quality, and innovation, we empower our employees to excel and reach their full potential.**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:- Complete and process a large volume of journal entries.- Perform account reconciliations.- Follow Standard Accounting Policies & Procedures according to USGAAP.- Respond accurately to Shared Services Customers.- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and work towards resolving open items.- Collaborate in the accounting closing process and carry out specific tasks on a timely manner.- Prepare and post Manual Journal Entries as requested.- Prepare monthly and quarterly accruals.- Ensure targets and expected deliverables are met according to the SLA guidelines.- Carry out a knowledge transfer process.- Identify potential areas for process improvements and highlight them to Supervisors and Continuous Improvement Team.- Support internal and external audit processes.- Participate in the reporting process of financial statements on a monthly basis.- Develop analysis and information as requested by the Business Units.**Who You Are**:You use financial analysis to generate, evaluate, and act on strategic options and opportunities.
