Rtr Accounting Analyst

The person hired for the RTR Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the general accounting function including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, and account reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.**The General Accountant's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following**:- Prepare journal entries- Complete general ledger operations- Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts- Assist with year end closings- Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process- Researching and resolving questions regarding spending area- Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures**Basic Qualifications**:- Accounting degree or advanced Student- 1-2 years continuous experience- Fluent English (80% min.)- Working knowledge of SAP- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel**Preferred Qualifications**:- Project and Assets Knowledge- Detailed oriented and enjoys working with operational processes.- Fixed Assets Knowledge- Highly client service and quality-oriented mindset.- Structured approach to effectively and efficiently planning own workload- Excellent communication skills.- Team oriented person who can focus on the details.- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel**Supporting Your Well-being**3M offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
