Within CE&S, the Customer Service & Support (CSS) organization builds trust and confidence for every person and organization through delivering a seamless support experience. Modern Life, Gaming and Customer Service (MLGCS), a Support Business Unit within CSS, is a group of 320+ Microsoft employees and over 7,500+ Delivery Partners Advocates spanning 39 sites across the globe. The MLGCS organization provides service and support for all Microsoft consumer products and services, as well as commercial customer service, customer protection and fraud intelligence. An interest in contributing to fast moving, real-time security events and crisis? Exhibit a growth mindset and desire to enable others with clear and authoritative communications? If so, we are looking for a technical and operationally strong Risk Manager to help drive our pre-release security update quality assurance and awareness programs. The Security Update Validation Program (SUVP) is our primary vehicle for this effort. SUVP engages customers, partners, and Microsoft engineering teams to ensure product security and stability.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in Risk Management, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Government Intelligence, Operations, and/or Finance
- OR Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in Risk Management, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Government Intelligence, Operations, and/or Finance
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of related experience in the security field, or a role with strong security components that may include account management, incident response, information security, privacy, network security, forensics, anti-malware, consulting, technical sales, compliance, communications, or public relations.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft's software servicing model and security update methodologies preferred.
- Experience with Power Platforms such as Power BI, Power Automate
- Business level fluency to read, write and speak English.
- Business level fluency to read, write and speak Spanish.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Engineering, Government Intelligence, Security, or Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years experience in Risk Management in the context of Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analyst, Consulting, Auditing, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Government Intelligence, and/or Finance OR equivalent experience.
- Membership with a relevant risk domain area association including: International Association of Preferred
- rivacy Professionals (IAPP), International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2, and Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Society
