Your Role and Responsibilities
The RDM staffs internal & external resources on assigned practice area projects.
Comfortable collaborating with others, including senior team members and executives.
Requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities. Shows discretion in handling sensitive information.Works closely with practice leaders to assign resources with proper skills.
Considers priorities of the business unit when staffing resources (cost implications, utilization, etc.) on projects.
Works closely with business partners to staff, negotiate rates and complete necessary paperwork to engage.
Understand the skill set of available resources within assigned practice.Leads business unit projects at the discretion of management.Comfortable presenting to senior team members and executives.Recognizes complex problems related to resource deployment objectives and capable of implementing solutions for the problems.Seen as an SME in resource deployment across IBM. Strong network within the company and externally that enhance staffing capabilities. Anticipates, creates, defines and implements innovative & visionary concepts based on business unit strategy and personal vision for resource deployment & business unit success.
Strong leadership, negotiation and teamwork skills. Mastery in organization and prioritization of responsibilities.
