**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
As a Research Associate within BCG's Data and Research Service (DRS) function, you will form an integral part of our Americas DRS team. Through the delivery of secondary research, you will contribute to BCG's client work and knowledge base by supporting proposals, client cases and business or internal development initiatives.
Some of the topics covered by the Energy team on a regular basis include oil and gas upstream, midstream, downstream, retail, trading, clean energy technologies (CCUS, DAC), renewables (solar, wind, nuclear, hydrogen, biomass, green fuels), power and utility topics (power generation, transmission, distribution) as well as decarbonization and the role of energy towards Net Zero scenarios. Regions of focus are mainly North and South America, but global scope is part of daily engagements as well.

**YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)**:
- Undergraduate Degree minimum (a preference for a degree in electrical engineering, petrochemical engineering, environmental engineering, geothermal engineering, industrial engineering, sciences, business, economics)
- 0-2 years relevant working experience
- Excellent English (written and oral); Portuguese and/or other European languages are an asset
- Ability to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; to be able to provide insights in the most user-friendly format
- Interest in smart utilities and decarbonization are a plus

The Data and Research Services (DRS) function is a dynamic and highly visible center of excellence focused on business research and process innovation. We collaborate with our consulting teams to bring advanced research capabilities to support projects and clients. DRS provides specialist research services to consulting teams and our Knowledge Team, taking deep pride in developing rapid and precise results.
DRS works with both qualitative and quantitative data, conducting research and providing synthesized results from over 100 commercial sources, publicly available data, company and industry research, macro-economic, commodities and trade data.
