Experience in KYC/ Compliance/AML/ Banking/ Risk management or related processes.
- Strong people Management skills (2-4 years of manager experience).

Registration and Compliance Operation (RCO) is looking for an outstanding manager with a passion for leading an operation team in Know Your Customer function. The primary responsibility of the function is to mitigate the regulatory and legal risk and prevent bad actors through a combination of automated and manual investigations, safeguard all Amazon marketplaces to ensure long-term buyer satisfaction with their experience.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and new opportunities. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to work with various stakeholders to identify issues, analyze root causes, and drive for improvement.
The primary role of this position is to provide leadership and guidance to the teams under supervision, manage team members to achieve the productivity and quality goals, and meet expected service levels, while working closely with the program team, process owners, training, workforce management, analytics, and other teams in RCO.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage a team of 12-17 employees.
- Manage individual and team performance expectations and goals, monitor real-time service levels and schedule adherence.
- Monitor and lead the team to meet and exceed key performance metrics goal for quality and productivity, complete detailed analysis of operational performance metrics, and make data driven business decisions.
- Coaches team members individually and periodically on performance on metrics as well as career aspirations.
- Acts as primary point of contact for on-the-floor issues related to investigations.
- Develop employees and their skill sets to expand the team capabilities and provide growth opportunities for future Amazon leaders.
- Maintain and improve employee engagement through effective people management and motivational techniques.
- Strive for operational excellence and process improvement. Analyze the key levers of the business to identify the trends and proactively act to eliminate root causes for defects.

San Jose, CRI
- Exposure to Six Sigma Black belt/green belt or equivalent working experience.
- Advanced qualifications such as MBA would be advantageous.
- Fluent Portuguese verbal and written communication skills.
