What You Will Achieve
This position will support the Capital Accounting Team by performing various tasks, primarily related to Capital Finance.
This role works closely with market and/or site finance colleagues, as well as Genpact colleagues.
Responsibilities include reviewing and approving capitalizations submitted by market finance colleagues, approving and/or reviewing capital purchase orders and asset change requests, monitoring CIP balances, assisting with annual asset cycle counts, compiling metrics and ad-hoc reports, recording month-end journal entries as required, completing balance sheet reconciliations, creating and conducting training, completing help tickets and providing customer support for all levels of the organization.
The position will also be responsible for providing audit support and participating in related projects.

How You Will Achieve It- Maintain elements of domestic and/or international general ledgers including the preparation of journal entries (with complete and accurate documentation) and balance sheet account reconciliations- Prepare financial and accounting analysis completely and accurately- Prepare basic analysis for external accountants and Corporate Audit- Participate in the month end close- Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement projects- Maintain complete and accurate standard operating procedures and SOX related internal control documentation- Maintain complete and accurate tasks lists and status of open items- Consistently meet deadlines with the assistance of others- Communicate known issues to manager timely
**Qualifications**:
Must-Have- Bachelor's degree required, with focus in accounting or finance preferred- 1-2 years of relevant functional accounting or experience required- Demonstrated technical financial reporting knowledge- Intermediate SAP and HFM skills- Intermediate oral, written, and overall English communication skills- Intermediate analytical and critical thinking skills- Ability to work independently, manages multiple priorities, and solves problems in an unstructured environment- Accounting experience preferred
