How You Will Achieve It
- Support shared services site team on accounting activities/tasks.
- Organizes workload prioritizes and proactively follows up on outstanding items.
- Perform period end financial close activities and meet all related deadlines.
- Responsible for communicating with internal and external business professionals for handling exceptions, approvals and follow up on items.
- Maintain, and when possible, exceeds metrics and goals.
- Manage relationships with key contacts and colleagues of diverse backgrounds, including different departments, cultures, business units, and countries.
- Assist in timely delivery of standardized financial processes on behalf of Pfizer.
- Ensure compliance and controls are adhered to and captured for audit review.
- Ensure customer needs and relationships are fulfilled and enhanced through proactive involvement and interaction.
- Develop financial information by researching and analyzing accounting data to meet management requests.
- Self-motivated works of own initiative with guidance or support from Management.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment where adaptability to change is imperative.
**Qualifications**:
Must-Have
- At least six months up to two years of professional experience in Accounting / Finance fields
- Technical High School degree in a finance-related field.
- University degree/on going University studies in Accounting / Finance careers
- Basic Office knowledge (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Intermediate level in English language
Nice-to-Have
- Pharmaceutical industry or contracts experience
- Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative with limited oversight
- Good organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple priorities
