We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Belen, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).
**Job Description - Quality Engineer**
**Experience**:2-4 years
**Day to Day job Duties**:
- Strong Automation testing knowledge and skills (Selenium, Java, Maven, Cucumber, Git, and Jenkins)
- Strong experience on Mobile web app experience, NodeJS, Typescript, WebDriver IO
- Good knowledge on Test Metrics, Test planning and Quality maturity
- Good knowledge in SQL and UNIX commands
- Exposure to TDD & Behavior Driven Development and experience in programming and testing
- Knowledge of programming languages and process management methodology
- Knowledge of test methodologies and their corresponding tools
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Experience in automated execution using Automation tools
- Progress reporting and risk assessments
- Proficient in different phases of testing like Functional, E2E, Regression and Integration Testing
- Identify code optimization area to make execution faster
- Automation feasibility analysis / Automation test plan
- Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs
**Nice to have**
- Knowledge about Linux environment
- Experience in any DB
**Certification (Good to have)**
- Selenium WebDriver, Core Java
**Degree**: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required
