We are currently seeking a QA Test Engineer to join our team in Heredia, Heredia (CR-H), Costa Rica (CR).- Understands various back-end and front-end architecture components required to formulate test strategies
- Performs manual and exploratory testing
- Performs defect reporting and triaging
- Participates in sprint-level, integration and regression test planning and execution
- Analyzes failure patterns and determine corrective actions to eliminate the errors
- Able to provide in-depth analysis to resolve technical issues, anticipate risks and ensure timely management escalation
- Work with stakeholders to plan, estimate & implement test strategies
- **Qualifications**:
**Must have**:
- 3-5 years of experience of Develop manual test scripts and test scenarios
- Hands on experience with Mobile testing of Native Apps and Mobile Web Apps
- Firm knowledge on JIRA, Confluence for project management and defect management
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Have exposure to cloud automation tools such as Browser stack for execution
- Experience with SQL and Database/backend testing
- **Nice to have**:
- Have 3+ years of experience in functional and regression testing
- Experience in IoT environment
- Rest assured API testing using Postman
- Azure knowledge & experience is a plus
- Flexible and willing to accept change in priorities as necessary
