**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As a QA/Test Developer, you will be a member of a remote team testing IBM Security Verify solutions and features.
You will serve as part of a multi-discipline team, collaborating with architects, development engineers, product managers, and microservice teams across our global organization.
The job responsibilities include:
- Plan test coverage for new/updated product features and user scenarios.
- Provide functional test coverage in various environments.
- Implement automated tests that support CI/CD requirements.
- Maintain and enhance automated regression test suites.
- Investigate functional issues and perform root cause analysis.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
2-3 years' experience with:
- REST API testing (REST, Swagger, cURL, Postman)
- Python or Java programming.
2-3 years' experience
- using test frameworks such as Robot Framework or other Python based test frameworks Knowledge of Javascript, JSON, and XML.
- Defining test coverage and designing test scenarios
- Implementing automated functional tests
- Debugging experience reproducing customer issues and performing root cause analysis
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
Experience with
- security vulnerability testing.
- Relational databases.
- Agile methodologies.
- monitoring tools (New Relic, Kibana, event logs).
- CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Gradle, Maven, and Unix/Linux.
- Knowledge of one or more of Cloud providers (AWS, IBM, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
