ABOUT THE ROLE Seeks to continuously improve test processes (Root Cause Analysis, Correction, and Prevention).
Responsible for the management and coordination of all testing activities on assigned projects.
Providing continuous review and recommendations for improvement of processes related to status reporting/dashboarding and QA.
Coaches and supports the team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead the QA team in establishing and refining best practices, standards, tools, templates, guidelines, and how-to references and promote them through clear communications that encourage adoption.
Facilitate disciplined, consistent, and transparent management of quality assurance.
Develop and implement a regular reporting cadence for software and platform quality.
Manage, coach, and mentor team members; build and develop a cohesive team to lead a software quality assurance function.
Standardizing testing procedures: examine code and execution of code in various environments.
Verify specific actions or functions of code.
Partner with developers to create test cases (manual and automated) and execute them as part of the software development lifecycle.
Provide feedback with testing results.
Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance.
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required for this position.
Must demonstrate the ability to read, speak, and write in English.
High School Diploma or equivalent, AS/AA - Computer Science preferred.
5 years of experience in Software Testing.
2 years of experience as Team lead.
Experience in testing methodologies.
Testing and setting up automated testing frameworks.
Proficiency in designing, developing, and implementing automated testing frameworks for the web.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with sharp attention to detail.
Excellent time-management skills and be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Experience with software development life-cycle methodologies such as SCRUM and Agile.
