Job Description:What are we building? Datasite is building a new platform to provide powerful and innovative solutions to enable our clients to manage the most complex deals on the planet as efficiently as possible. We want to be the easiest, fastest, and most intuitive way to progress deals to a successful outcome – enabling the bankers, lawyers and professionals we work alongside to focus on doing what they do best for their clients. Our core platform is a microservices architecture with multiple web/mobile applications built on top. We are leveraging a combination of open source and third-party libraries/frameworks such as MongoDB (NoSQL), Elastic Search (search), Kubernetes/Docker, Microsoft Azure (cloud service platform) and many more. This role is a hybrid role in Heredia. Expectation is occasional (currently 1x a week) in office with flex scheduling and split-time available to avoid traffic. Datasite is willing to be flexible with employees to find the best solution for collaboration and work-life balance.Responsibilities We are looking for a solid Python Engineer to join our distributed team. This team will have many opportunities to learn new technologies and innovate on the products. The immediate need is for someone to: Design and build micro-services in python, including services that encapsulate ML models and agents Design and develop service and application integration using technologies including message queues, webhooks and websockets. Enable use of best practices for scalable, resilient and highly available services Write unit, functional and load test scripts to test micro-services Create and maintain scripts for configuration management, CI/CD To be successful in this role you must be a leader, quick learner, very familiar with agile practices and software development, and enjoy working in cross functional teams. Our Ideal Candidate will have: A passion for writing clean and scalable Python code (back end or full stackUnderstanding of Python best practices and common frameworks for unit testing, code quality, packaging, and deployment Subject matter expert in Python Proficiency with FastAPI, Flask, Keras, Tensorflow, and/or PyTorchExperience integrating with enterprise Java systemsAs a global organization, Datasite knows that diverse perspectives are essential to our success.
