- Responsible for working independently to coordinate proposal responses including development, tracking and administration of various commercial and government proposals.
- Manage all the components of proposals, from solicitation release to proposal submission.
- Develop proposal outlines, schedules, and assignment charts.
- Document status in Salesforce; ensure adherence to retention policy.
- Manage content in database (RFPIO/Responsive), coordinate content reviews.
- Create cover letters, executive summaries, templates.
- Coordinate, revise and improve technical content prepared by product managers.
- Coordinate contract, FAQ and security responses.
- Adhere to all client requirements and compliance with format standards including bid preparation and submission guidelines.
- Interface with technical authors in the writing, editing, and publication of various types of documents including templates, bid specifications.
- Assist with improving content, graphics, and readability of a proposal while ensuring compliance with all client requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of hands-on proposal development experience
- Strong knowledge developing proposals in response to RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's, commercial and government.
- APMP Foundation Certification or greater
- Strong writing skills: eye for detail and skills in copy-editing, grammar, styles, spelling, and punctuation are a must.
- Database management experience, preferably Responsive (formerly RFPIO
- Ability to project manage multiple proposals simultaneously and meet short timelines/deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail as well as oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Advanced MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills; experience with Word styles and adhering to branding requirements and style guide.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with grace and confidence under pressure.
