The Latin America Chief Administrative Office team has the primary responsibility to create a robust, sustainable, and forward-looking governance & control framework and practice throughout Citi Latin America.
The LATAM Regional Governance Technical Lead will be responsible for supporting the Firm's Corporate Governance Framework within Latin America, with a special focus on building and maintaining the technological infrastructure required for tracking, reporting and archiving regional governance documentation and adherence to global policies. He/she will report directly to the LATAM Business Unit Associate, as part of the regional Chief Administrative Office team.
He/she will support the CAO Office in driving enhancements to the region-wide Governance structure and processes, including better cross-committee coordination and tracking of important objectives and risk management activities via key forums.
The LATAM Regional Governance Technical Lead will own the region-wide infrastructure and tools required for the centralization of key Governance committees and their proper administration. He/she will lead the development and maintenance of the LATAM governance site and develop related tools to improve visibility, tracking and reporting of core committee outcomes. They will be a critical part of promoting stronger risk identification and governance activities, driven within the 1st line of defense.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well both as part of a team and independently are a must as this individual will be required to lead coordination efforts single-handedly, as well collaborate very closely with stakeholders across the region and all lines of defense. Strong technical skills (SharePoint, HTML and Javascript experience) are a must for this role.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the build and maintenance of a regional Corporate Governance site and MIS, via SharePoint or other Citi approved tools, which facilitates enhanced visibility, centralization, reporting and tracking across the five main regional Committees, and additional key forums as required.
- Incorporate technological and web design best practices and additional Citi tools to make regular enhancements, based on management requirements, changes to global policies and general ease of use.
- Create sites that are foundationally based on visibility, auditability and policy compliance.
- Work closely with the Regional Governance Associate and other Committee secretaries to centrally track meeting logistics, agendas, participants, follow up items, conditional approvals and other governance items, and use the microsite and tools for regional and global reporting.
- Use technological solutions to provide better oversight and connectivity to the country level committees, in order to identify trends and potential items for regional escalation.
- Ensure that there is consistency across core regional Governance Committees, to prevent unnecessary duplication of topics and encourage proper escalation protocols and channels.
- Maintain close connection to other Citi Corporate Governance teams, to learn and share best practices and ensure consistency across the regional and Mexico microsites.
- Support internal and external reviews of regional Governance processes, including Internal Audit and regulatory review.
- Remain up to date on any policy development or initiative impacting the regional corporate governance model.
- Support the CAO team on related and ad-hoc projects as needed.

**Qualifications**:
- 3-5 years of experience in SharePoint and/or HTML and Javascript coding and web design
- SharePoint, HTML and Javascript expertise required
- Knowledge of other coding languages (Python, Java, VBA) in addition to HTML
- REST API and XML knowledge required.
- Graduate or undergraduate degree, concentrating in Computer Science, Engineering, Web or Systems development, or related field
