The Project Manager is accountable for the overall success of the client project delivery from requirements discovery to implementation and acts as the primary contact for the Client for the duration of the project.
Your daily activities will be:

- End-to-end Accountability for project delivery
- Acts as the primary point of contact for the client during the project lifecycle
- Understands the client's business needs & leads client sessions including planning, governance, workshops, specifications, and testing
- Manages the scope of the project
- Identify, mitigate and manage project risks
- Controls project budget
- Understands and controls dependencies, assumptions and the critical path of the project
- Assesses, owns & documents change requests, including impact assessment (costs, effort, etc.)
- Drives customer acceptance processes
- Manages transition of the Client once the project has completed
- Run all client and internal status calls
- Incident escalation including Major Incident; Service Level Management
- Suggest Process Improvements in the Project Management Workflow
- Work with both internal and client teams outside of your time zone
- Send status reports internally and externally and be able to discuss why the project is in a yellow or red state in detail
- When time does allow, this role will be expected to suggest and work on "team initiatives", at least 2 a year
- Review levels of effort both to get a good understanding of what is expected of the project and create a draft timeline
- Be a team participant within the AMER PM team, the Global PM team, and Global Tech Services.
Your required knowledge for this role
- 2+ years of experience in project management
- Strong client facing communication skills
- Strong leadership, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Prior experience managing multiple parallel projects with competing deadlines and different complexities concurrently
- Commercial and conflict negotiation and resolution experience
- The ability to work independently and communicate well in a fast-paced, pressurized and matrixed environment
- An evaluator who uses data to drive decision-making
- Quickly adapt to our Project Management Process, but realize that some projects require us to be creative in our solutioning; we embrace a bit of ambiguity
- Be familiar with Marketing/Loyalty terminology
