**Project Lead Senior Manager Job Description**

We are looking for a Project Lead Senior Manager to join the Thomson Reuters accounting team located in Lagunilla de Heredia, Costa Rica.
**About the Role**
In this opportunity, as a **Project Lead Senior Manager **you will:
- Lead and manage the execution of high-complexity finance and accounting projects, ensuring that objectives are met, budgets are maintained, and delivery is on time.
- Deeply understand the end-to-end (E2E) financial and accounting processes and stay updated with the latest trends and changes in regulations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in financial and accounting processes and develop and implement improvement plans. Promotes adherence to established processes and policies.
- Explore and promote automation opportunities to optimize efficiency and accuracy in financial and accounting processes.
- Collaborate closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure that projects align with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Supervise and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment and continuous learning. Open to work with other partners around the organization to fix issues and provide support.
- Establish best practices and oversee adherence to existing workflows and processes.
- Day-to-day running of schedules, scheduling, workflows, and deliverables of creative project.
- Establish creative accounting /financial operations models inside TR to improve or change process as needed. Work hand in hand with DAL members and other teams by identifying and working closely with the right stakeholders based on their level of influence and decision making.
- Ensure quality of and compliance to internal/external frameworks, SOX Controls. Manage audit programs.
**About You**
You're a fit for this role** **if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing people.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines
