Sysco Costa Rica is looking for a Project Financial Analyst to join our Project management team.
As a Project Financial Analyst, you will assist the Commercial Technology Project Management team in tracking and maintaining the budget, requisitions, invoices etc.
for multiple Areas/Directors/Projects.
Requirements Work with the Project Management Office in the Technical Domain within the IT Organization.
Submit and maintain the Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
Review, approve and follow up on vendor invoices and Timesheets as needed.
Administer process to manage Labor Capitalization while closely aligned to Finance department.
Schedule & Faciliate meetings as needed and on a regular basis to review the Financial Summary for the area.
Track contract end dates and reach out for renewals and extensions of the contracts as needed.
Forecast, review actuals, accrual amounts etc.
every month.
Build & maintain effective relationships with Project Management, Finance and the other cross functional teams.
Work closely with the department Finance liaison and Project Management Office for the Technology Area Financial tracking.
Ability to prepare reports to summarize the financial information and facilitate meetings and presentations of the summary if needed.
Develop processes to help manage Financial tracking and reporting.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics 5+ years of financial experience with Forecasting, Accrual process, Vendor Invoice process etc.
Demonstrably proactive, adaptable, and flexible Ability to work with and assist the Program and Project team in tracking the financials at the Portfolio level for the area.
An analytical mindset - able to understand requirements, and to identify and evaluate potential solutions Ability to work in a fast paced environment Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak English Ability to be an effective and valuable part of a team Strong interpersonal skills and able to resolve conflict with productive outcomes Strong attention to detail Experience with the Workday tool is beneficial but not essential Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision Benefits Hybrid (Ultra park II Lagunilla, Heredia, Working from the office for 2 days, WFH 3 days.)
