**Project Accountant**
The Project Accountant prepares and completes all final billings and monthly requirements for assigned accounts while working closely with program managers, account managers, purchasing managers and management.
They ensure the financials for each meeting are managed in a timely, accurate and compliant manner.
Project Accountant will communicate with vendors and project teams to collect receipts and program expense documentation as well as resolve outstanding payments and clarify issues related to program expenses and assist in monthly reconciliation of programs.
**Your responsibilities**
- Reviewing invoices for accuracy, and processing payment for them in a timely manner
- Oversee and research credit card reconciliation, using multiple systems
- Ensure client meal caps and thresholds related to compliance requirements are adhered to
- Prepare final billing according to client policies and internal procedures
- Resolve any discrepancies with suppliers and clients
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures and train staff on appropriate company billing policies and guidelines
- Assist in monthly invoice preparation
- Knowledge of accounting basics and revenue financial analysis
**Your skills**
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong multi-tasker who has the ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously
- Previous accounting experience in A/P, A/R, and client billing
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in accounting or related field
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Excel in particular
