The **Program Specialist **acts as a main point of contact for their assigned client or client group. This role ensures we meet or exceeds program service expectations by ensuring program compliance, evaluating key performance metrics, and utilizing data and relationships to implement strategy in coordination with the Program Manager. This role maintains a strong focus on relationship building, partnership enhancement, and internal collaboration with external key program contacts and internal departments including Recruiting, Payroll, and HR.

**About the Program Specialist position**
- Act as a proxy for the Program Manager for basic support, assuming all client-facing responsibilities as schedules may require.
- Strategize utilization of internal tools to best support client programs
- Supports daily client-specific objectives including reporting, research, vendor calls, audits, and other various requests
- Partner with Compliance Team to ensure the Onboarding team is adhering to client SLAs/other expectations and to audit quality of work.
- Partner with Client Services Operations Director and/or Program Manager to drive process improvement for interviews, VMS notifications, etc.
- Participates and helps prepare for and attends client scorecard reviews. Assist Program Manager with leader improvement strategies and implementation communicates appropriate outcomes to internal team members and lead improvement strategy and implementation.
- Provide support to the Program Manager in various capacities including but not limited to:

- Communicate with payroll on invoicing assistance, issues, or special requests
- Communicate with Benefits Specialist for onboarding, enrollment, and questions
- Communicate with HR regarding external associate issues and concerns o Other projects as assigned
- Partners with Program Manager to work with MSP partners and/or hiring managers in conjunction with the analysis of historical data to predict forecasted hiring needs.
- Take ownership for requests for client HR/ER issues as pre-determined by the Program Manager. Escalate urgent items as needed.
- Communicate and coordinate with Client Service Operations Director and/or Program Manager on issues, concerns, or escalated situations.
- Propose solution-based ideas to Program Manager that factor in efficiencies, effectiveness, profitability, and employee satisfaction
- Work with the Program Manager on developing employee initiatives and retention programs when requested by our partners.
- Have a solid understanding programs business and how their contingent labor program operates
- As assigned, focus on business development efforts and opportunity to farm the account by partnering with key client contacts to discover staffing challenges outside of our current scope and offer solutions through TM.
- This role does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

**Skills**
- 3+ year's professional service experience successfully supporting and implementing increasingly complex client program and/or service and compliance requirements, processes, and solutions
- This is largely a sedentary role that operates in an in-office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and resources such as computer hardware and software, printers, scanners, and VoIP technology.

**Education**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related field of study preferred or applicable years of experience
