Selling Partner Developer Services is seeking a Localization Program Manager to oversee global multi-lingual localization projects in a dynamic digital environment. The Localization Project Manager will use translation tools to ensure that translations, generated by humans or machines, adhere to Amazon's specific term bases, style guides, and quality standards.
Key job responsibilities
The Localization Project Manager excels in project management and coordinating with global stakeholders to meet messaging requirements, while establishing effective mechanisms to remove defects and blockers in content delivery for more than 40 languages.
**Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Oversee end-to-end international localization projects, closely collaborating with internal business partners, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure punctual delivery within the translation management system.
- Monitor project timelines, resources, and quality.
- Identify, address, and escalate project risks.
- Create, revise, review, and sustain localization process documentation and wikis.
- Manage translation memories, style guides, and term bases.
- Investigate linguistic feedback and resolve issues.
- Implement process improvements to reduce manual steps, errors, and delivery time.
