Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, related technical field or the equivalent experience within Amazon

- Experience in a similar role (process development, product design, business process improvement)

We are looking for Program Managers for our Guided Workflow team (which sits within Tools & Security space under GPO org), with a passion for technology and the ability to deep dive, invent and simplify.
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving small to medium size projects, related to onboarding guided workflow or leveraging it for quality, productivity or automation gains.
You will be constantly analyzing operational processes, to design, develop, test, launch and continuously improve workflows.
You will receive clearly defined problems without clear solutions.
In this role you will partner with Workflow Specialists, functional owners and operation leaders to understand their business, risk evaluation processes and generate technical requirements supported by program technology.
As a Program Manager, you will work cross-functionally with program managers, software engineers, business analysts and operations managers (among others) on small to medium scale projects.
In addition, you will develop ownership of a workflow or group of workflows, to improve the product by developing solutions aligned to the functional requirements.
In this role, you will be part of PRO's Global Process Owners team, under the Guided Workflows team.
You will be supporting all 5 of PRO's functions (BRI, Apay, B2B, GC and Chargeback).
Additionally, this role will provide opportunity to conduct various experiments using GWF including, but not limited to Automation.
Key job responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of small to medium size projects, part of the GWF Team roadmap.
- Build and execute experiments, using GWF, with the objective of improving operational quality, productivity or supporting automation.
- Engage with program and operations stakeholders to document requirements, create functional specifications and generate process maps.
- Design, develop, test, launch and improve Payment Risk Operations guided workflows.
- Engage with software development teams, when required, to understand and guide evolving program technology
- Author content in various markup languages (Mustache(5), Markdown, HTML, CSS)
- Deep dive technical product or operational issues to propose and implement simple and effective solutions.
- Support guided workflows for any of the 5 functional units within PRO, ensuring solutions are created and delivered with zero errors.
- Thoroughly document the design of each workflow developed.
- Conduct GWF related experiments including but not limited to Automation in partnership with GPOs and ML.
- Support PRO with workflow troubleshooting when a malfunction is encountered.
A day in the life

- Master's degree in related field (technical or MBA)
- Basic knowledge of programming/mark up/scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, Markdown, HTML and CSS)
- Experience with using workflow modeling tools such as Albacore or Paramount Workflow designer.
