As a Production Analyst, you will serve a key function within the engineering organization, monitoring and maintaining our client-facing systems while working across our technology stack. We are looking for creative, innovative problem solvers who can drive solutions and improvements to our growing platform of apps and products with a specific focus on performance, reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Essential Duties- Analyze metrics and build dashboards to paint a picture of system and sub-system health-
- Identify risks, observability gaps, and technical debt that could affect production performance and stability-
- Drive continuous improvement of monitoring & alerting standards across the whole enterprise-
- Work across engineering squads to drive better use of our observability platform, with the goal of improving our reaction to and preparation for incidents-
- Participate in load testing, chaos testing, and disaster recovery planning**Qualifications**:
- These skills and experience will stand out (don't worry about checking every box):
- 1 year of professional experience in a software or IT environment-
- Experience with RESTful API's-
- Experience with back-end Java frameworks (Spring preferred)-
- Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)-
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)-
- Experience with Python-
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and microservice architecture-
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and log aggregators-
- Experience with data analysis as code using something like R Project, pandas, or numpy-
- Experience doing live analysis of Java performance using tools like JMeter-
- Understanding of Linux server administration-
- Application tracing experience using Instana, Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar-
- Experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQKey Success Factors- Natural problem-solving skills-
- A technical aptitude and hunger to learn-
