**About the opportunity**

Wind River Systems is seeking an experienced Product Owner. As a member of the Agile Team who is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by the team and ensuring that the Product Backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. As part of the Engineering organization embedded within the development team but also functioning as an extension of the Product Management team, the Product Owner is the team's primary customer advocate and primary link to Product Management and Technology strategy enabling the team to balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while continuously evolving the product.

You will join a highly skilled engineering team delivering internal and external products and technologies across a complete DevSecOps platform, pioneering many new industry-leading capabilities.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and architects to understand business needs and translate them into clear and actionable product requirements.
- Define and prioritize product backlog, ensuring that user stories and features align with business goals and are delivered in a cloud-native microservices environment.
- Work closely with the DevSecOps and Full stack teams to provide clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation needed for development and testing.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging industry trends, and leverage this knowledge to drive product strategy.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless user experience and intuitive interface design for the cloud-native microservices.
- Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing their questions, concerns, and feedback, and providing regular updates on the product roadmap and delivery progress.
- Engage in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other agile ceremonies to ensure efficient and effective delivery of features.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues, prioritize bug fixes, and make timely decisions to keep the project on track.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing user feedback, conducting usability testing, and identifying areas for product enhancements and optimizations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, cloud-native technologies, and best practices, bringing innovative ideas and insights to the product development process.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native principles, architectures, and technologies, with expertise in Kubernetes and microservices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate product vision, roadmap, and updates to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Knowledge of modern software development practices, including test-driven development, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance considerations in cloud-native development.
- Continuous learning mindset with a keen interest in staying updated on emerging cloud-native technologies and industry trends.

**Qualifications**
- BE / BTech in Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical / Software / Systems
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in cloud-native microservices development projects
