You will also have growth opportunities as we have a culture that supports your personal and professional development.***:**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: What you will do**:**Technical Responsibilities**:- Preparation of surgical planning guides and reports- Coordinate, review and process CT Scan data and convert those files into 3D bone models used to develop patient specific instrumentation- Review models, and paperwork from those within the team to ensure it has been completed to the quality required- Read and work from various clinical imaging including x-rays and CT scans.- Provide adequate information via technical drawings and 3D models to manufacturing and inspection (including subcontractor activities such as coating requirements) and prepare job cards and bill of materials (BOMs) with reference drawings as required.- Ensure standard templates used for design are current and updated in a timely fashion.- Support problem solving, root cause analysis, identify potential solutions, and evaluate them against requirements.- Track status of each case using internal software.- Review patient data processed by coworkers.**Business Responsibilities**:- Accountable to meeting and/or exceeding business objectives.- Provide support to the engineering team when necessary.- Understand the product's intended use and clinical procedures.- Any other tasks that sits outside your current role from time to time to support the activities of the business.**Med Device Compliance**:- Mentor others as a business unit expert on the usage of industry standards, including design requirements and test strategies per applicable regulations.- Lead others to create and refine engineering documentation, such as the Design History file and create more progressive technical content.- Contribute to R&D procedures and development of industry standards working closely with cross-functional business units.**General Responsibilities**:- Review activities performed by APDT and PDT.- Learn procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology required.- Work on problems in limited scope; purposefully learn while gaining experience.- Demonstrate ownership and integrity of work.- Build stable relationships.- Contribute to the project as a team member.- Coordination with manufacturing, operations, and scheduling to meet the needs of the PROPHECY® navigation cases schedule.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: What you will need (strongly desired)**:**Technical Skills**:- 3+ years of experience is required (related experience within the medical device industry is strongly preferred)- Prior experience with orthopedic / mechanical products and software like Mimics, 3Matic, Magics, and Excel.- Recognize radiology basics concepts.**Preferred Skills** **/ Engineering tools**:- CAD Software proficiency.- Excellent PC skills (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project).- Proven leadership and demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating teams.- Excellent written and oral communications skills.- Able to work with all levels of management.- Ability to collect and interpret, complex data and information.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:- High school degree or equivalent experience required.- Technical drawing degree preferred, other technical degrees considered with demonstration of other basic skills.- 2+ years of Mechanical or BioMechanical degree.
