**Job Purpose**:
Manages the procurement process and supplier relationship for various contracted services, commodities, and events. Identifies, develops, and manages relationships with current and potential suppliers. Examines the Procurement Department's spending activities and provides management with an analysis of the activities.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required**
- Prepares and processes contracts for risk assessment and collaborates with business unit's management, executives and suppliers in the negotiation of finalized contracts. (30%)
- Monitors on-site employee services such as travel, health and recreation, food services and other employee amenities and budget items to ensure business units are meeting specifications of contracts. (20%)
- Assists in gathering data and review of domestic and regional strategic global RFP's to ensure the processes and/or policies were completed/followed for indirect spend in the area of products, services and goods required for the organizations operations. (15%)
- Prepares and negotiates standard and non-standard contract language to achieve positive terms and competitive cost structures with suppliers. (25%)
- Supports global purchasing initiatives through proactive communication, coordination, and consensus-building among the organization's entities to follow established guidelines and/or processes/procedures. (5%)
- Provides recommendations or changes for corporate policies related to Procurement, Travel, and other corporate services to ensure such policies advance the organization's strategies. (5%)
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience
- Other Education / Certifications: Professional certification (e.g. ISM, GBTA, TBBTA) or active participation in a professional purchasing related organization preferred
- Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
