You will have a vital role in our Information Technology department.
Your expertise will be essential to our success as you collaborate with diverse teams to develop and implement procurement strategies. This role offers the chance to work with advanced technology and contribute to the seamless functioning of our IT operations.
**Your role at Baxter**
Support end users of Rapid Response for service requests (parameter update, data changes, coaching ) and incidents (data issue, system bug, coaching). Coordinate issue resolution with IT and RR developers. Support new developments and system upgrades through functional testing and entire regression testing. Monitor system performance, data refresh, number of scenarios,
**What you'll be doing**
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect IT goods and services
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers
- Work closely with colleagues from different departments to identify and define procurement needs and requirements.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise
- Manage procurement contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Continuously identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Stay updated on current trends and effective strategies in indirect procurement
**What you'll need**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience in indirect procurement, preferably in the IT industry
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
- Ambitious and self-motivated with a drive for success
- Strict adherence to ethical standards and compliance regulations
