This is a hands-on role with the unique opportunity to help further the Databricks Procurement function and grow our operations impact. You will support the Procurement function in all purchasing needs across Databricks departments and partners. You will support processes for spend management, metrics tracking and reporting, purchase requisitions, supplier onboarding, and contract management. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Strategic Sourcing and Operations.
**The impact you will have**:
- Support the following: Procurement business operations and improvements
- Supplier onboarding, enablement, and risk management
- Purchase request to purchase order process
- Partners and FP&A to resolve issues and move the business forward
- Partner with AP, Suppliers, and partners to ensure resolution of vendor payment issue
- Support efforts to create training materials and knowledge articles
- Provide reporting and strategic analysis on current/ future spend
**What we look for**:
- 2+ years in a Procurement role
- Process and customer service driven
- Driven person who can work in a team environment and communicate at a high level
- Experience training requesters on procurement processes
- Experience with metrics and reporting
- Effective problem solving, planning, and project management skills
- Excellent ability to work with suppliers and build strong stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-growing environment
- Experience with procure-to-pay systems (Coupa, Netsuite, Zip, and Ironclad)
