Our regional Procurement Team is currently looking for a talented **Procurement & Facilities Manager for CARCAM **(Barbados, Costa Rica, Panama and Puerto Rico),** **who will be responsible for ensuring, planning and structurally organizing the activities of the department to carry out a cost-efficient procurement policy and contribute to the realization of the organizational objectives, whilst at the same time assuming end responsibility for the company's facility management. Guaranteeing efficiencies, correct risk management on the Procurement side and operational continuity and workplace management on the Facility side.
**Here's what you'll be doing**:
- Develop and communicate a procurement/facilities business plan; establish, communicate and implement long-term goals for the department in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
- Conduct research to source the best products/services and suppliers in terms of best compliance, value, delivery schedules and quality.
- Delegating tasks and supervising the work of BPO and Procurement approved buyers across all departments.
- Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business.
- Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors.
- Work closely with the legal/compliance department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company.
- Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings and supplier performance targets are met - or exceeded.
- Ensure the results and presentation of monthly reports and internal controls.
- Creating and monitoring the facility's budget.
- Directs, schedules, and oversees external contractors (electricians, plumbers, excavators, roofers, painters, landscapers, etc.)
- Develops and monitors facilities budget; orders equipment and supplies and monitors inventory; makes requests for capital outlay expenditures as needed.
- Develops specifications for cost-effective campus energy management systems; supervises the operations, maintenance and repair of such systems.
- Contributes to strategic planning by evaluating and projecting future facility needs and proposing options to achieve them.
- Prepares specifications for facilities projects, prepares bid specifications for projects, equipment, and contracted services; oversees site and building projects performed by outside contractors.
- Create contracts for 100% of Facilities Management services.
- Capex implementation, ensuring the execution of 100% of CAPEX projects where Facilities is the owner and develops project expense control.
We'll make a **match** if you meet the following **requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or relevant field.
- Master's degree in business or related field. (desirable)
- At least 10 years of experience in purchasing/Facilities areas with a focus on Strategic Sourcing or in Supply Chain or logistics areas and Facility management.
- At least** **6 years of experience leading work teams.
- Fully Bilingual - English and Spanish proficiency.
- Experience and ability to interact with the top executive team, able to challenge senior and line management in a constructive, balanced way, offering solutions and innovative thinking.
- Previous working experience within a large scale rapid and process driven environment would be beneficial.
