**What you will do**:
The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for supporting supplier activities for an assigned portfolio of suppliers.
The role will interface daily with suppliers and key site stakeholders including the New Products Teams.
This role will focus on both purchasing and supplier management Supports the input analysis into the strategic sourcing activities.
**Responsibilities**:
Supports Supplier Negotiations including favorable terms, discounting, contracts administration
Processes Requisitions & Purchase Orders for the procurement of goods and services and supplies for NPD processes or for internal use as a generalist or in a combination of purchasing disciplines.
Track and manage KPIs including: on time and in full delivery (OTIF), material lead time compliance, PO compression days, past due invoices and PO's
Coordinates and supports administration and maintenance of the approved Suppliers lists including document management, add/changes, payment terms and certifications, Audit reporting and business agreements
Ties approved components to preferred suppliers and Leads all systematic (ERP) NPD activities including but not limited to, life cycle code (LCC) updates, material review (MRV) preparation and routings, tying parts to suppliers, cost roll, establishment of items in ERPs, and other systematic troubleshooting during the NPD phases.
Under Supervision Supports New Product Introduction Projects including project plan, staffing, budgeting and progress tracking
Work cross-functionally to support Stryker initiatives and support activities to improve business processes
**What you need**:
- Some previous ERP experience or product life cycle management.
- Previous New Product Development Experience
- 1+ years of industry experience in relevant process area
- Proficient on Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships within Stryker divisions and geographies
- Must be highly organized
- Creative, strategic, and analytical thinker with the ability to assist with multiple projects
- Must be able to prioritize work and keep accurate and detailed records
- Strong administrative skills - planning and organizational skills
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
