The role:
SoftwareONE is offering a comprehensive service portfolio to its customers which includes providing software procurement outsourcing services. As a consultant for the assessment, design and delivery of Software Procurement Services, the Software Procurement Services Consultant supports the customer in contract pricing and rightsizing, provides knowledge around software procurement process, and delivers services around Digital Supply chain management.

**Role & Responsibilities***:

- Gather and analyze relevant data to assess customer situation in regards to software procurement and planning for outsourcing.
- Support of Software Procurement Services sales in the tendering process by providing expertise, design of services and price calculations.
- Act as Project manager and primary contact for the project team at the customer.
- Design and implementation of the to-be software processes, SLA's and reports, tool installation and integration, training and onboarding and transition.
- Drives cost savings from top suppliers through negotiation, process automation, KPI utilization, communication, and effective benchmarking
- Ability to solicit and evaluate high value and complex quotes, negotiate, and administer agreements
- Develops strong knowledge of software publisher pricing and programs through on-going training with software publishers
- Develops cross-departmental relationships for a full understanding of the entire supply chain, supports requests from internal sales, purchasing and other operation team members
- Ability to work with purchasing professionals from across the globe and from different cultures to maintain high level of customer service
- Partner and collaborate with other departments and functions including but not limited to CBDM's, Inside Sales, shared services center, SAM and TS to ensure they understand Software Procurement Services and are able to present the services to customers.
- Performs other duties as assigned by SoftwareONE management.

What we need to see from you:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3 - 7 years of experience in IT consulting, software sales and license sourcing
- Extensive knowledge of software licensing processes, partner programs and supplier landscape
- Advanced Project Management experience
- Advanced Consulting skills
- Customer business process analysis and understanding
- Advanced business writing skills for customer deliverables
- Customer solution presentation for complex solution designs (Ability to articulate the business value on complex solutions)
- Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
- Advanced knowledge of software and licensing contract terminology
- Solid problem solving, consultative and research skills
- Experience in the area of services outsourcing (as customer and/or provider)
- Strong analytical skills
- Motivated self-starter who is reliable to work in a team environment
- Highly customer service oriented
- Prior project management experience required
- Prior procurement and contract negotiation experience required
- Proactive, dynamic and able to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a multitude of projects simultaneously
- Is comfortable interfacing with sales, senior managers and global directors

- General math skills, PC proficient, knowledge of MS Office.
