WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE
Leads the development and implementation of technical project geared towards parameters improvement within his LCO area in order to achieve higher productivity.
Leads the root cause analysis and drives the action plan whilst tracking the results to confirm effectiveness.
Leads the new initiatives in responsibility area.
WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for improving the line performance specifically the OEE by conducting loss and failure analysis and implements action plans.
Develops tools to evaluate and confirm the effectiveness of actions implemented.
Works closely with the specialists to plan basic maintenance works in order to ensure machine availability through the effective preventive maintenance plan and execution.
Develops as well improvement programs geared towards the elimination of machine stoppages in order to avoid
Responsible for the proper use of the SAP / EAM system and carrying out activities at the right time
Conducts regular internal meetings with a team of specialists and share the monthly line performance analysis.
Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor.
Compliance with EHS procedures, labor law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions.
- Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe.
- Develop their competency to do the work healthy and safely, participate in health and safety training and receive appropriate health and safety knowledge and required qualifications, observe and follow safety signs, posters, warning signals, and written directions and instructions.
- Know Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all applicable health and safety rules and procedures.
- Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor and eliminate them within their authority and ability to do so
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Technical, engineering, mechanical, electrical education Knowledge of technical and technological issues.
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years work experience in similar position
Language skills: very good command of the English language for effective verbal and written communication;
Functional skills: PC literacy (MS Office).
Knowledge of production technologies, standards of factory improvement programs, Lean Manufacturing (KAIZEN, TPM, TQP, JIT), ISO/EHS.
